COVID-19 Update – October 25, 2021

Visitors to West Court Long-term Care Home and South Court Assisted LivingReminder - Effective October 26, 2021: Individuals visiting West Court Care Home and South Court Assisted Living must be fully vaccinated1 against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required at the time of entry to either setting, including passing through the building(s) to access an outdoor space.  Exceptions include for young children under the age of vaccine eligibility, those with an approved medical exemption, and visits at end of life.  If a visitor cannot provide proof of full vaccination, they are not permitted to enter either setting.If you are a resident of BC and have not obtained your BC Vaccine QR Card but are fully vaccinated, please register for your vaccine QR code as soon as possible at: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/proof1 Full vaccination/immunization for COVID-19 is considered as seven days after receiving the full series of approved COVID-19 vaccine or a combination of approved vaccines. COVID-19 Booster Doses for Residents We are very pleased to announce that residents of both West Court and South Court received their booster (3rd dose) vaccine against COVID-19 on October 19 for South Court and October 22 for West Court.   Residents of West Court and South Court also received their Influenza vaccine.
