COVID-19 Update – March 11, 2022
West Court – Today, we have great news to share. With the steady downward trend in COVID-19 cases in the community, we have been given the go ahead to open our doors to social visitors. We are very pleased to report that we will be welcoming all visitors to KinVillage on Monday, March 14, 2022. We can’t wait to welcome you back to West Court!As we expand and open up visits for further, much needed connections between residents and families, it remains our priority to continue standard protocols for COVID-19 prevention including monitoring residents closely for any symptoms, staff screening, physical distancing, as well as enhanced cleaning. Please be aware of the following:
- Preventative measures including vaccination requirements, screening, masking and rapid testing of visitors remain in place
- We have created additional areas for visitors to complete rapid tests
- Due to rapid testing, we are limiting the group size to a maximum of 4
- Please be patient if you need to wait. Our hosts are doing their best to accommodate all visitors.
- Masks required in common areas
- Existing exceptions to the rapid testing (end of life, children under 12) remain in place
- Please avoid visiting if experiencing even mild symptoms until symptoms have resolved
