COVID-19 Update – January 14, 2022

South Court/Assisted Living - The results are back from the testing (Nasopharyngeal swabs) completed on Wednesday January 12, 2022 for both residents and staff, and unfortunately four staff tested positive for COVID-19. These staff members are currently all isolating at home.The results of five residents’ swabs are back and one resident tested positive and is currently isolating at home. One resident who was positive has now recovered, with one positive resident currently still isolating in their suite as of January 14.Enhanced Monitoring As a result, we will be looking closely at where the staff members worked for the past two days monitor and/or test any residents/staff having any symptoms.

• Any residents showing any symptoms will be isolated, swabbed, and monitored closely.
• Staff will continue to cohort on floors for two-week periods at a time
• Staff will continue to monitor all residents for symptoms and continue to screen residents twice daily
• Staff will be screened for symptoms twice daily during their shift
• Staff in all areas will once again be wearing masks and googles
• Enhanced cleaning measures will continue daily
