COVID-19 Update – December 31, 2021

West Court First Floor and Parkview on Enhanced MonitoringUnfortunately a staff member working in the care home’s First Floor and Parkview neighborhood has recently tested positive for COVID-19.   Fortunately, the vaccination rates for care home residents are very good and all staff must be vaccinated.

• All residents and staff in these neighborhoods will be tested today
• Any unvaccinated residents will need to be isolated in their room
• Staff working in Parkview and First Floor neighborhood will not work in other areas of the Care Home and vice versa
• Staff will continue closely monitoring all residents for symptoms
• Staff will be screened for symptoms twice during their shift
• Staff in all West Court resident areas will once again be wearing masks and goggles
• Enhanced cleaning measures will focus on these neighborhoods

Further:

• As per the announcement by Dr. Bonnie Henry on December 31, 2021: Starting January 1^st 2022, only essential visits will be allowed in the care home.
