COVID-19 Prevention Plan Update - June 12, 2020
We remain safe and COVID-19 free. Great job everyone! Keep up thegood work. Thank you.
In a statement this week from Dr Bonnie Henry, Provincial HealthOfficer, and Health Minister Adrian Dix, “…while our overall provincial cases may be low, COVID-19 is active and in our communities.” People living in long-term careand assisted living are at most risk. Wemust not let our guard down. Recently there has been a new outbreak in one long-term carehome in Vancouver. This is a goodreminder for everyone that this is not the time to be complacent.
We must continue to be diligent in following best practice measures. Measures include: maintaining physicaldistancing (2 meters), active screening of staff and anyone coming into andleaving West Court and South Court buildings, vigilant monitoring of residentsfor any symptoms indicating possible infection, visitor restrictions, stayingaway from others if you are unwell and/or displaying symptoms such as coughing, fever, diarrhea, vomiting etc., washing your hands frequently, practicing proper cough etiquette, wearing personal protective equipment whereappropriate such as masks and eye protection, and daily enhanced cleaning inall of our buildings by the housekeeping team. Thank you for your continued efforts!
